If you have everhad the urge to build a hot rod but are too old, then you will begin to understand the motivation for this vehicle build, as well as this website.
My Latest and Last Build
I was born in 1940 (during the BIG WAR, WW2) and am in good health, but just do not have the motivation to go 'barn hunting' for cars anymore.
So, What is the Purpose?
The purpose? Who needs one in the first place? If there IS a purpose, it is because it is fun!
How is My Rat Rod Used?
Finally! With 'My Rat Rod,' I can start going to car shows again. Nothing big ... just Culvers, some local shows and mostly to get out of the house and catch attention. I have no more room for trophies anyway.
I DO plan to tour Route 66 with My Rat Rod (yes, the whole thing) and also attend 'Back to the '50's' in Minneapolis.
About Herman
My fleshless companion Herman, sits in the passenger seat. He talks (by way of a cheap set of walkie talkies). So, when you walk up to the door and look in, Herman engages you with "What are YOU looking at?" Then, if you are dumb enough to answer, he will continue to engage you in conversation.
