Where others see a mess, I see opportunity!
Cleared out most of the trash and got it out of there
Need to remove the old 4 banger to prep for the new engine

It's a 327 out of a Camaro, overhauled with a mild cam
New engine is in!
An expensive little 'add on,' but I want it to run cool!
The grill was purchased at a farm sale. It is out of a McCormick Deering tractor. I sand blasted the reddish paint off, and salt watered the shell to make it rusty.
The developing Rat Rod up on the lift, in order to run brake lines, linkages, steering, etc.
Also, fitting the floorboards
Started right up - amazing!
Herman has not been feeling well, but he loves to ride along as my passenger
Rosy was a gift from my favorite (and only) Son-in Law, Mark Young
If you look real close, you can see Herman
The pickup box is made from old wooden fence slats
Yes the tailgate works. It is totally useless, but it works!
Never take a photo without checking shadows first!
The only place for the fuel tank was in the middle of the box
Note the magnet which secures the filler down during travel
The most useless thing on the Rat Rod!

Good overall view of the box...
Check out those aluminum wheels!
That is a Massey Ferguson Grill
A real glass windshield! Doors and back glass are plexiglass
All new from Speedway Motors
Route 66 Sign and Door Lettering
Thermometer (just behind the door, on the box) and Door Lettering
With the door Lettering
I tried to make it subtle, like it was the original lettering back in 1935
Thermometer and Door Lettering
With door Lettering
Never let a bean can go to waste! Yes, it is screwed to the floor...
